Vasectomy clinics in Queensland
We cover 11 Queensland cities, from Brisbane to Cairns. Published out-of-pocket prices run $395–$597 after the Medicare rebate (checked Aug 2026) — the cheapest in the country. There is no public option in QLD, so private is the only realistic path.
Pick your city below. Each card shows the lowest published out-of-pocket price in that city after the Medicare rebate, and each city page lists every verified provider, including those that quote on enquiry.
Queensland’s private market is competitive, and it shows in the prices: Brisbane’s $395 is the lowest published figure in Australia, and Cairns and the Sunshine Coast both start at $404.10. Every dedicated clinic takes direct bookings — no GP referral needed — and no-scalpel under local anaesthetic is the standard everywhere. Regional cities from Mackay to Gladstone are covered by resident GP proceduralists or visiting clinic days.

The figure on each card is the lowest published out-of-pocket price in that city after the $233.90 Medicare rebate (checked Aug 2026). Rebates require Medicare eligibility.
The public system in Queensland: not an option
Queensland public hospitals do not offer vasectomy as a routine elective procedure. There is no public list to join for an otherwise-well man — referrals, where accepted at all, are triaged as low-urgency with very long waits, and most hospitals simply don’t take them. Plan on paying privately.
The silver lining: because everyone goes private, Queensland has the country’s cheapest published prices. Budget $395–$597 out of pocket after the Medicare rebate, claimable at every listed clinic (MBS item 37623, rebate $233.90). Medicare eligibility is required for the rebate.
